FALL ARREST LANYARD
The safety lanyard is the component of the safety harness that secures the attachment point to the body. In addition, the lanyard connects to an attachment point at the top of the harness. It then descends to a connector or webbing loop on the waist belt, which connects back to another attachment point at the bottom of the safety harness.
